Care Instructions: Gentle machine wash with like colours, up to 40 degrees celsius. Line dry. Do not soak or bleach.
Why Bamboo:
Bamboo man made fabrics have many excellent properties. Bamboo blends are breathable and cool, have a nice, natural lustre, are extremely soft, have fast water absorption performance, and are naturally anti-bacterial. Bamboo fibres also draw moisture away from the skin, thereby creating a cooling effect. Bamboo is also naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odour. The natural fibres are hypoallergenic, meaning they have a decreased tendency to cause allergies.
Bamboo is also extremely fast-growing. The type of bamboo used for making fabric (commonly known as Moso), can reach a mature height of 75 feet in just 45 to 60 days. Bamboo not only grows quickly, but also rarely needs pesticides. If there is sufficient rainfall, no additional irrigation is required. Bamboo regenerates naturally through an extensive root system that sends out an average of four to six new shoots per year.
